ABOUT
My name is Ocea Hill, and I am a photographer based on Hornby Island, BC.
I work across film and digital photography, creating images with an editorial sensibility and a natural, undone aesthetic. Much of my work explores the relationship between people and place, and many of my sessions take place along the coast and within the island landscape.
My practice moves between brand storytelling, hospitality and editorial work, as well as portrait sessions for individuals, families, and visiting guests. Whether I am working with a small business, documenting a creative collaboration, or photographing people in the places they love most, my focus is always on creating images that feel honest, grounded, and alive.
I am especially drawn to collaborating with artists, small businesses, and people who value sustainability, regeneration, and a thoughtful relationship with the places they live and work.
